Everything was formal.  I remember goose bumps moving up my spine as the band played “Hail to the Chief.”  It was surreal and very hard to believe I was watching JFK in person while they played the presidential salute.  Had I not been so busy taking pictures I would have been asking people to pinch me to assure myself it wasn’t some kind of dream.
